Though I enjoy SCI, I really prefer Railroad Earth. RRE is a little less "jam-grass" and a bit more Americana, but that suits my tastes better. Everyone's taste in music is a bit different and there are many who are turned off by anything that even hints at bluegrass. Contrary to what is bandied about on most internet music boards, not liking what I like doesn't make you the spawn of Satan, a total idiot nor a waste of oxygen. Hey recommend away. I'll listen and if I like it I'll tell you. But if I don't like it, I'll tell you that too. And I may not go into a detailed explanation trying to convert you to my way of thinking.

All sixteen minutes of it were awful,it sounds like music accompanying a cult induction, and the Eyes of the World was so bad as to make a 94' Dead version sound brilliant. They suck on many levels.

"it sounds like music accompanying a cult induction"

"the Eyes of the World was so bad as to make a 94' Dead version sound brilliant"

criticizing music in this way is so childish. please elaborate. these are not rational, sensible arguments, and they make you come off as unintelligent.

also, although i appreciate much of your input here and agree with many of your comments, i must say i lost a lot of respect in your musical opinion when you made this comment:
"I think John Kahn is a terrible musician"

I'll express my opinion as I see fit, regardless of your overly sensitive guidelines. As for your respect level concerning my opinions,I'm not going to lose any sleep.

"egardless of your overly sensitive guidelines"
not overly sensitive. just rational. all i'm saying is if you're going to criticize music, you can't make any bit an argument for your case when you speak in terms such as you did.
